Fresh from the DKP Collection, we have an original ‘Joy Division” NME cover from the 11th August 1979. The artwork is in excellent condition given the age. The paper is naturally discoloured but is free of any tears or folds. This is one of the most sought after and collectible NME front pages of all time.
The image has been framed to the highest conservation standards available. The frame moulding is an exhibition frame from Centrado. The mount board is 100% acid free from Daler Rowney and the glass is "TrueView AR99” Museum Glass, ensuring the image will never fade, even if it’s hung in direct sunlight. The paper has been dry mounted on to an acid free self adhesive board meaning it can never be rolled, but it is on sale to be enjoyed, admired and respected. A true DKP favourite from the personal collection of Russell, DKP Gaffer.
