This is a linocut print of some long reed grass - 'Calamagrostis'. These grasses typically form large, dense clumps of narrow leaves and stiff upright flower/seed plumes.
Limited variable edition of 50. Variable edition relates to the handprinted nature of the prints - so they're all a bit different, whether it's slight differences in colour or on different paper. Clairefontaine Japanese Simili Printmaking Paper 130 gsm, Lawrence oil based ink. Printed image size 420 mm x 600 mm with a generous margin to allow for framing.
