'The Trees Tell Us Secrets’ depicts the magic and alive nature of woodland. Human faces, hands, and feet are subtly integrated into the trunks, branches, and roots of the trees. This artwork draws inspiration from creatures of folk tales: the Green Man, moss people, forest Gods.
This piece is a linocut print. Each block is meticulously inked - almost painted - using a fine roller, ensuring that each print in the edition has it’s own unique character.
594 x 841 mm (A1) paper with approximately 46.4 x 701mm printed area.
‘Bread & Butter’ acid-free paper with vegetable-oil based and metallic relief ink.
